When I started working, I was alone. Now I am happily accompanied by clever, reliable collaborators.
I want to mention Luca, Ilaria, Eleonora, Francesco, Cristina, Annalisa, Rebecca, Paola and Malvina.
I could not have achieved my goals without their help.
As happens for metals and precious stones, the value of a jewel depends not only on its material, but on its being unique.
But what makes it unique?
It is unique because it contains the originality and creativity which come from the artist’s mind.
It is unique because who thought of it and made it are the same person.
It is unique because the union between the material and the stones leads to aesthetic and chromatic results that are not at all conventional.
It is unique because it was made for a specific buyer, not for others, as if it were a made-to-measure outfit.
Technological advances have allowed industry to enter the jewelry market giving origin to mass-production, the purpose of which is different from the art of the goldsmith.
The philosophy by which the work-shop was created was to guarantee the following base reasons for buying: confidence, skill and privacy.
Confidence is answered for by Mr. GUZZI’s curriculum;
Skill is answered for by his highly skilled collaborators;
Privacy is warranted by the fact that all the operations to make a jewel, fusion, artistic engraving by burin, setting and enamelling by fire, are executed inside the same work-shop. Nothing is taken outside.
All this gives the best guarantee for the product and the quality of the material.
And finally, If a customer has particular needs, the structure of the work-shop enables Mr. GUZZI also to work on his jewels, as required.
